I am from Italy and I have bought this modem which is a really good one, on 1 June 2024, BUT after I have registered the product on the Asus page it says that my Modem Warranty, with that S/N, is outdated.
When I click on the details, it shows:
- Start of warranty date = 2023-12-19
- End of warranty date = 2023-12-18
- Warranty = Expired
Another thing that I don't understand is that on the Modem box it says 3 years of Warranty..
I don't understand what's going on, so I have opened a ticket and I got a response from the Italian support which he didn't solved the problem giving me a generic answer.
He said that the warranty will be supported by the shop where I bought the product for 2 years (in my case Amazon).
When I asked, why in the corner of the Modem box is written (with a big label, printed!!!) 3 years of warranty, he just answered again that Asus doesn't give this type of warranty and in case of problems I have to contact the seller (Amazon), warranty guaranteed for 2 years.
I have several Asus products, for example on my x570 Rog Strix MB bought in the 2021, I got 3 years of warranty after I have registered it.
I was intended to buy an RTX 4080 Super Rog Strix but after this situation I don't think to go for it.
Should I try another way to get the right answer?
