Hi guys,

I recently purchased 2 x gt-axe11000 and i have trouble setting up AI Mesh properly.

Main Router - GT - AXE 11000 (Firmware 3.0.0.4.386_42026)

AI MESH ROUTER -
1 x GT - AXE11000 (Firmware 3.0.0.4.386_43984)
3 x GT -AX11000 (Firmware 3.0.0.4.386_44266)

I tried updating Main Router to latest firmware but after update i am unable to see my AI MESH AXE router.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

I have tried other combination of firmware for and the only one that seems to work for 2 x GT-AXE11000 is above.

thanks in advance.

if your axe11000 as primary, you can only see nodes of ax11000
if you cannot see another ax11000, please reset the ax11000 and then rejoin again.

thanks for the reply saltgrass, yes i am using the Axe as primary. i have done reset and rejoin. but as soon as i assign it on backhaul mode it doesn't work and

i can only see the ax11000. But using the original January firmware with on primary AXE and latest firmware on secondary AXE seems to work fine.
2 firmware patches ago i would have authentication issues on the secondary, it seems the latest firmware fixed it but i can't use both AXE on the latest firmware.

I am lost..

You did not answer the question as to whether you were using Ethernet or Wireless Backhaul.. or at least I don't think you did..

Update :-

I just updated latest firmware on both Primary AXE and Secondary AXE. Am still having similar issues at the moment. 3.0.0.4.386_43986-g0176651

Downgrade Primary to 3.0.0.4.386_42026-gddd85a3 and seems to be working fine again...

I was just wondering if you were using an Ethernet Backhaul configuration? If you were using Wi-Fi as Backhaul, the fact the 6 GHz radio doesn't seem to work would limit you to just the two other radios. The AX11000 has two 5 GHz radios which might allow it to work.

I do not understand, why using the same firmware on the AXE11000s would cause one to not work as a Mesh Router. However, I do not have a way to check.
