When can we expect a beta, or release for our expensive routers?

If it helps you feel better a lot of ASUS' higher end models have been stuck with the same firmware for similar amount of time.

Check this Merlin change log and hopefully your specific issue(s) are listed.  If so then consider trying Merlin firmware/BIOS:

Sadly merlin only adds features and doesnt really modify the system wifi and bug fixes typically.

Hoping a mod and possible share a beta release with the community.

I'm using the AX11000 with Merlin software and it's absolutely rock solid.

I've ran into issues, infact merlin himself says to use stock asus frimware for aimesh nodes.

Is there a mod here who can push a question up the ladder about incoming alpha/beta frimware for the ax11000?
