Hello, I own a ROG THOR 850w platinum 80, the one with the oled screen to see how much power the pc is using. I have a doubt if the PSU is working correctly since it shows no more than 301watts power consumption. I have AMD ryzen 7 7800x3d, 64gb ram with leds, rtx 4080 with aura and using vr or 1440p monitor for gaming. My question is, is that normal being consuming so "little" since just the rtx 4080 should be consuming 450w at least?.

Hi @ramiroquai78 ,
thank you for your question.
Based on your issue, you can try reconnecting the power supply or restarting your computer to see if there are any changes.
Alternatively, you can also use GPU-Z to check the power consumption of your graphics card and verify if it matches the specifications.
Thank you.

What’s the power draw at idle and when gaming? Just because the graphics card CAN take 400+ watts doesn’t mean it is using it. Also your monitor isn’t powered by the PSU. Get a 20 dollar watt reader if you’re questioning it. Should be close.

Nothing is wrong with it then. That sounds completely normal.
