ROG Loki SFX-L 850W Correct connection of video card cables

Good day!

I bought ASUS ROG Loki SFX-L 850W. And I need to connect an ASUS TUF-RTX3070-O8G-V2-GAMING graphics card. It has  2x8PCE-E power connector. And the power supply has only one 8pin PCI-E 1-to-1 Cable and PCI-E (16-pin to 8-pin-8-pin). Tell me, please, is it safe to connect the power to my video card via a 600w-2x8PCE-E dual cable?

As I see, 16-pin to 8-pin-8-pin is 18AWG (not 16 AWG, as MB cable is)

Hi @jorikello ,

regarding the issue of connecting the power supply to the graphics card, please follow the steps below:

  • Connect the 6+2 pin PCI-E +12V power connector to the PCI-E slot on the graphics card.
  • If your graphics card has a separate power connector, connect the PCIe power connector from the power supply to the power connector on the graphics card.
  • If your graphics card comes with an additional power adapter, make sure to use that adapter to connect the graphics card to the power supply.

For detailed instructions and specific connection methods, please refer to the user manual provided with your product.
