12vhpwr PSU to 2 x 6+2 to GPU

I have "Asus TUF Gaming 750g 750w modular PSU, it comes with following PCI-E cables:

PCI-E Gen 5.1 16-pin Cable x 1 (675mm)
PCI-E (16-pin to 8-pin-8-pin) Cable x 1 (675mm)
PCI-E 1-to-1 Cable x 1 (675mm)

I want to use this PSU with Sapphire rx 7700 xt GPU which has 2x8pin connectors, now I know I can use adapter cable (second on the list) - 12vhpwr PSU to 2 x 6+2 to GPU, but im wondering to if I can use a combination of: 12vhpwr PSU to one 6+2 GPU side (leaving the second 6+2 on the same cable unpluged) +  (third cable from the list) - 8pin PSU 6+2 GPU?

The reason for this is to be extra safe because of unreliable "12vhpwr", in a way to let say split the power usage between two PCI-E 4.0 and 5.0 cables.

Hi @Skymaster4

If using an adapter, I would not recommend leaving one or any unplugged. The 7700XT doesn't pull enough current for you to be concerned with some issues surrounding the 12hpwr connector.
