When I am playing Spotify through my aux chord it isn't that loud, but when I open a game it gets so much louder. I want the music to be that loud without having a game open. Is the game genie using an eq on the game or something? I just want my music louder. I already went through all the settings and developer options and can't find a solution. Please help guys

Hi there! I understand that you're experiencing an issue with the volume when playing Spotify through your aux cord. It seems that the game you mentioned might be adjusting the audio output in some way, leading to a louder sound. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to help you get your music louder without having a game open.
Within the Spotify app, there are a few settings you can check:
1. Open Spotify and go to the "Home" tab.
2. Tap the gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner.
3. Look for the "Audio Quality" option and make sure it's set to "Very High" for better audio quality.
4. Look for the "Volume Level" option and make sure it's set to "Loud".
I hope these steps help you get your music to the desired volume level! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask in Zenfone 8 Community by following link.

Thank you for your reply!
However, my spotify settings were already set to "Very High" and "Loud"
This is my first Asus phone and I have never had an issue like this on any of my other android devices. It makes me suspect that it has something with the game genie putting an eq on the games, but i do not see any audio options in game genie. Any other advice?
