ROG throne flicker

Can anyone help please 

after updating armoury crate my throne has developed rgb flicker. This only happens on aura sync setting and not on any other rgb profile

Tried reinstalling armoury crate and not helped 

think it’s an armoury crate

My throne started flickering after a crate update a few weeks ago as well, but now there is an update that won't install and the lights on the throne are completely off

I have the same issue.   I am prompted to reinstall the firmware 0027 for throne - the only way to do it is to unplug the device from usb and power and reattach, reboot and reinstall it.  However later on the same thing will happen again.   They really need to fix this.

I plan to keep the thread as active as possible as still can’t get my head round why a fix hasn’t arrived despite updates since the issue. Told they are on it but really don’t think they are taking this seriously. Bet it’s been given to a trainee to research and fix between going to college. 😠

Not only that but on all of my Galaxy phones say they are not compatible with the charger whenever I sit them on the QI 🫠

I have the exact same issue. I found a workaround for this. Uninstall armory crate and download the full armory crate installer and manually select all the peripherals you have to download. After that Armory Crate should fail to open/install. Download the latest Amory installer (1.34mb) install it and ONLY UPDATE ARMORY CRATE. Avoid updating everything else especially the ROG THRONE.

Thx Winra, this workaround doesn't work for me, it does work how you've said it only when i plug another asus device in my Throne Hub it then stars flickering again. i have an asus headset and the raikiri gameplad in the usb slots as soon as i put hem in it starts to flicker again unfortunately.

I see. It worked for me as I have my balteus and gladius plugged in. However my flicker came back when I downloaded aura wallpaper creator. So it’s not the best workaround and only works if I don’t download or update anything related to armory crate. I hope asus fixes it soon. In the mean I’m just going to turn aura sync off for my throne.
