Can anyone help please
after updating armoury crate my throne has developed rgb flicker. This only happens on aura sync setting and not on any other rgb profile
Tried reinstalling armoury crate and not helped
think it’s an armoury crate

@Silent_Scone I've been in the software industry for over 20 years and bugs happen - of course. For every bug there is a ticket, a fix and a release process. I'd welcome the transparency of ASUS to supply us with a ticket number, so we know it's in their system and a projected release schedule for the fix. That would keep us from being disappointed with every update that doesn't address this issue.
The frustrating part is that it was working before. It's not impossible for the Throne to work as intended.

just had an email from ASUS support saying exactly the same cut and paste from a month ago 😂 saying I need to uninstall and re install. I had added the link to those thread and that ASUS are aware but still same cut and paste. They don’t even read the emails you send. Guess all working from home and weather to good for and research 😂

I want to see one PC over at asus HQ that works. I mean all the peripherals every one asus aura, I want to see the hardware working together, use every different lighting setting for 24 hours. Also they must work with games that are asus aura compatible and see it working properly with Windows Dynamic Lighting. I do not believe the full asus aura ecosystem works on a single PC at HQ. I believe that the person running the aura department is related to a CEO and is unsackable, because if this were happening in any another company the department head would have been fired for being incompetent.

Haha it would be funny if it wasn’t so frustrating. You are so right. Bet they haven’t had the thought of putting a rig together and testing it. The support emails I am getting are a waste of time. Have Stopped trying as they do t really give two shakes about our hardware and software actually working together 👍

The good thing is, if you switch your throne from aura switching and set it manually, the glitching seems to be gone, it doesn’t go black after a few hours, and AC doesn’t prompt me to reinstall the firmware over and over again. (I can confirm at least for the past 72 hours of continuous use - when on aura, the longest it would last would be about 4-5 hours before conking out). I realize this is not ideal, but for those looking for a workaround, this seems to be the best option.
