ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless Indicator Light Color

I just bought an Asus ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless keyboard, spent time customizing my lighting for each zone on my keyboard (as one does) but the indicator light is still neon green and in breathing mode. I tried not using the Aura creator and just setting my keyboard to a static red, but the indicator light is still neon green. I also tried to adjust the settings in wireless mode, but that did not work. I have heard about using OpenRGB but I really don't want to download yet another program just to change it. After researching, I saw a post saying that the indicator light will sync up with the settings once the keyboard is at 100% charge. My keyboard is currently only at 70%. Can someone help? Are the posts I saw on reddit correct? Thanks, I'd appreciate any feedback.

Hi @martiv730 ,

Regarding the lighting issue with your ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless keyboard, we would like to further confirm a few points:

  1. Connection method: Do you encounter the abnormal lighting issue regardless of whether you are using Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, or wired connection?
  2. Armoury Crate settings: Have you tried going to "Device List" > "ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless" > "Lighting" in Armoury Crate to adjust the settings? After setting, does the lighting effect still not change?
  3. Software reinstallation: Have you used the official Armoury Crate uninstallation tool to completely remove the software and then reinstall it?
  4. Firmware update: Please make sure that your keyboard firmware is updated to the latest version.

If you have completed the above steps and the problem still persists, considering that you have just purchased the product, we recommend that you contact the dealer where you purchased it for further assistance.

If you are willing to wait, we can also help you investigate further.

In this case, please provide us with the Armoury Crate log file so that we can analyze it.

The logs contain detailed information about the software's operation and can help the team identify the problem.
Please ensure that the logs accurately record the occurrence of the issue.
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate logs:
Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? (New Feature)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
Once you have completed the above steps, please upload the collected log files to a cloud storage service and send us the link via private message.
Also, please provide us with your product serial number.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

Hello martiv730

As long as the charging cable is connected and charging, the indicator light (ROG Logo) will pulse green.

When the keyboard is fully charged or you disconnect the cable, the indicator light (ROG Logo) should change color with the rest of the keyboard.

In Armoury Crate on the RGB Indicator tab, you'll want to select "Sync with keyboard lighting".
