The volume knob on my Flare 2 Animate is working properly. It sorta works, but when using it, it has random downward "jumps". As an example, if I am trying to turn the volume up, as I am slowly moving the nob upward, it will randomly lower the volume by 4 clicks or so, then the next few clicks will behave as normal, then it will jump down 5 clicks, or 2, etc. Basically, it has become super unreliable.
Everything else about the keyboard is working fine, but that knob is just all over the place. I dont want to have to replace the entire keyboard, so any troubleshooting or suggestions would be welcome.

Hey, I have the same keyboard with the same issue, what solved it for me is that i sprayed it with isopropyl alcohol and started rolling the knob and rubbed with tissue paper cleaning it. It works perfectly now but with time (1-2 month) it starts again, but after cleaning it with alcohol its good again.
Hope it helps.

Hello ATOdinson
Try resetting your keyboard by pressing and holding the Fn + Esc keys until the led's flash green.
Then try the volume control knob.

Unfortunately reset had no effect.

Exactly same problem here—I guess it's some design flaw. Did you manage to reach Support about this?

Not yet, I dont have a backup keyboard currently so doing this would put my PC out of commission and it's how I make my money. I am currently looking at possibly replacing it with another brand. I love the keyboard, but I want one that actually works.
