rog harpe ace 2.4ghz doesn't pair anymore after updating the rog omni receiver firmware

Untitled.pngI have an ROG Harpe Ace that I bought in September 2023, and now I’m having issues due to a firmware update on the omni receiver. After just 1 hour of usage, almost 50% of the battery is drained. Then, I tried updating the firmware of the ROG Omni receiver, but after the update, the 2.4GHz connection no longer pairs or works. However, it works when wired and via Bluetooth.

I’ve tried on two computers, reinstalled ROG Armoury Crate, reinstalled ROG Armour Gear, and tried the factory auto-pairing. Tried manual pairing by switching to 2.4ghz then press PAIR on mouse for 3 secs.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

Same happened to me yesterday. Now it cannot detect the mouse. I'm trying to initiate de pairing process, the mouse blinks green but that's it. After a while it says pairing failed. I can only use it wired or bluetooth.

Can you confirm that your Omni Receiver firmware version is 6.00.25 to date?

i'm on 6.00.23. it says it's the latest. can you provide link to 6.00.25? thank you!

You should be able to update directly via Armoury Crate, but if that doesn't work, try this link:
ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition | Mice & Mouse Pads | ROG United States

Thank you. Unfortunately the support page provides a firmware update tool that has 6.00.19 inside. Already had that one and didn't work.

If you haven't already, please try reinstalling Armoury Crate Gear for your device and make sure that there are no further available updates to Omni Receiver version 6.00.25.

You can find the appropriate AC Gear download links for your device here: Latest models supporting Armoury Crate Gear

I reinstalled Armory Crate Gear this is how it look like. version 1.2.0.8, the latest.Screenshot 2025-01-20 112509.pngScreenshot 2025-01-20 112303.png

Thank you for your screenshots. Please try a hardware reset on your mouse by pushing the power switch to RF 2.4 mode, and hold down left click, right click, scroll wheel button, and dpi button for 3 seconds. You should see the scroll wheel light flash red 3 times, followed by green 3 times to indicate a reset success.

Now that both your device and dongle firmware seem up to date, please try pairing your Harpe Ace to your dongle again, following the on-screen instructions. Hope this works!
