ROG Gladius mouse freezes every 3 seconds after the latest update

After the latest update of rog live service (2.4.24.0) the mouse freezes every 3 sec, after the initialization of armoury crate. IT IS UNUSABLE! The only fix I have found is to unplug and plug back in the mouse while armoury crate is open. Also uninstalling the live service fixes the issuse (obivously). I have the latest updates for everything. On 19 sept. the rog live service updated and it was also an "asus external hal" or something similar that updated and started to cause this issue. ASUS HELP!

Wait, in the link you posted you can see ASUS have advised you there that it's likely defective?

Don't take this the wrong way, but isn't the Gladius almost 10 years old??? That's a reasonable shelf life for a gaming mouse. The fact you're here kicking off so much is insane to me.

so for example if you receive an update for windows and after you apply it, the pc is not booting then the pc is likely defective? so that means its a hardware problem, right? read the whole storyline.

Are you going to help us or demand more stupid logs and screenshots? All the softwares are up to date. All the devices have the latest driver. The only thing that broke the mouse was YOUR (Asus) update. And because of that you know exactly what to do since I didn't modify anything in the configuration, just installed the update.

Logs do help them with diagnosis i'm sure, but the Video? its not needed imagine moving the mouse back and forth or in a circle and it freezing for like 2 seconds, moving for 1 second, freezing for 2 seconds, etc

Ya i'm using it on an ASUS prebuilt PC with ONLY asus peripherals, but like i said, several times now ASUS Crate and screwed me over. I wish they made the old software still. but I had also had increasing rate of hardware failures with the peripherals. Its sad because I really like the stuff when it works.

I just saw they released an update for asus framework service (4.2.0.4) and decided to install the rog gladius driver again to see if the issue is fixed. It is not! Asus, what are you doing? Do you care about the gladius 1 anymore??

After I have applied the update and the issue wansnt fixed I went to uninstall the rog gladius driver again. Now it made my mouse like @itz_zarz . No buttons work, cursor moves with 1 dpi and scroll works only up. PLUS armoury crate wont install the driver again, it doesnt see the mouse anymore...

I have managed to reinstall the mouse driver and get it recognized by armoury crate. Now im back with the original issue. Freeezing every 3 seconds.

Same issue for me and now it is worst since the last "armory HAL update". Thank you ASUS for you consideration... It smell like a programmed obsolescence...

I am struggling to get them to fix this issue for a year now. Its very hard to actually get support here. Its literally the worst update now since it made the mouse unusable and they dont even care. Someone mentioned that its 10 years old so of course its suppsed to be broken now lol
