Rog Falchion Low Profile - Function button randomly stops working

Hello,

The function key stops working randomly on my Asus ROG falchion low profile KB. I am unable to use any shortcuts then.
I have to plug the USB C cable to make the function work as it activates charging. It works perfectly on wired mode.

Is this a firmware issue ?

I updated Kb to latest firmware to solve the problem. Tried resetting kb..  Still it persists.

Tried doing some reinstalls of Armoury crate. 

And then I looked up to this link recommending to keep HID automatic in services

This seems to have helped.

If I don't add replies, consider the issue to be solved.

Hi I am having the same issue not able to use fn key while using dongle and not able to use pair functionality as fn key not working in 2.4Ghz and bluetooth mode. Please let me know how to solve this. Thanks

As I said, based on the link given... Make sure HID is automatic in services.
I still randomly get this issue.

What fixes it temporarily is using a charger to charge the device which suddenly activates the battery and the function key.

I did set it to automatic but still no able to use the function key. I am using the keyboard in wired connection.

Does Fn key work in wired ?

As I said, try charging the device with another standalone charger in 2.4Ghz mode. See if FN key works as battery needs to be shown.,

Yes fn key does work in wired. But not in 2.4GHz.
