ROG Delta II

meruem07

Hi,

I'm having an issue on my ROG Delta II which was recently bought last mid December. Everything was fine during the December month till now I recently have this issue which is the 2.4g having an hard time to connect to my personal desktop.

During start up, the 2.4g does not turning on for a few minutes (30 minutes) while the BT was working fine.

After 30 minutes with turning on/off the headset I was able to connect it.

I believe these kind of behavior of the headset is not normal. May I know what should I do?

Firmware 03.09.00

Hi @meruem07 ,

we apologize for the delayed response due to the holiday break, and thank you for your patience.

Regarding the issue you raised, we would like to confirm the following:

  1. Please use ASUS Armory Crate to check for any available firmware updates for your headset/dongle.
  2. Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
  3. Ensure that the headset and receiver are placed away from other wireless devices, such as Bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi routers, etc.

If you have already confirmed the above steps and the issue persists, we recommend sending the headset to an authorized service center for further assistance. Thank you.

Hello meruem07

Try using the usb-c to usb-a adapter for the wireless dongle.

Then connect it to a usb port on your pc, you can use motherboard usb ports or pc case usb ports.

Pressing the function button on the left earcup should activate them and turn them on.

Hi @Aureliannn_ROG ,

Thank you for your response. I was also tried the suggestion steps for further checking but still no luck for the fix.

The headset is now sent to the authorized service center and as they advise they will replace a new one.
