ROG Claymore II - battery issue

Hi,

I too have been getting power surges on my USB-port with Claymore II keyboard, just like many others. I have tried all the tricks of resetting settings on keyboard, updating drivers with armoury crate, different USB-cable, different USB-port. It all comes down to Claymore II creating power surge issues. Sometimes it is more prominent than other times.

I finally took the effort to investigate more. I was encouraged by this one post describing the same issue. I too have swollen battery on my Claymore II. I find this unbelievable from 200 € product. 

I also think Claymore II is a fire hazard. Be cautious...

Unfortunately I am unable to send private messages. After lot of time spent trying to send private message I still get following message but no highlight what is wrong. Alternatively if I don't get the following error I get error of maximum sent items and asking to send later:

if is on warranty rma. if not remove and replace the battery is just 6usd plus shipping, and enjoy i replace a few already. once you get the battery will be perfect and you can still use the unit untill tha battery arrive. no not trash the metal yo will needed
