I have been using my Chakram X Origin for an year now and its been fantastic, i have mostly used it wireless and sometimes switch to wired mode in multiplayer fps games. Howere, after the recent firmware update i am not able to connect my mouse in wired mode at all. I can definately say this is a software issue as the same cable that i use with the mouse is not working with it. Even in armoury crate i saw something amiss, it now says "Ensure that your mouse has been turned on and switched to RF 2.4GHz mode before modifying your device's settings." Earlier in wired mode we were able to change settings cause i used to switch to 8000 Hz polling rate in wired mode.
And the device is getting detected in wired mode, and shows up on armoury crate, but the cursor doesnt move, not mouse buttons work and cannot change settings in armoury crate for the wired settings. It literally says Tri-mode connectivity in the product page but wired mode not working is a mess that asus has to own up to and fix it.

Hi, I can't reproduce your issue. Please check the following:
1. Use the bundled cable.
2. Use a USB 3 port.
3. Check the FW version.

Unfortunately, the bundled cable was not working out of the box and as i had waited very long (about 2 weeks) for it to arrive, i didnt wanted to wait for a replacement just because of the cable, so i was using the samsung cable i had with me. And it was working really fine for the whole year without any problems, now it is not even getting detected when connected by cable, only when connected by 2.4g and bluetooth its showing up. Here is the screenshot of the firmware versions.
Please help me with this issue.

Could you provide more info (pictures and system spec would help) about which USB port the mouse is connected to? Is it a USB 3 port?

i am using usb 3. I think the mouse not getting detected via the type c port cause i tried with a different laptop and different cables, but still the wired mode is not working.
Here is a screenshot when dongle is connected but the mouse is on wired mode connected to pc.
And here is screenshot where mouse is still on wired mode connected by a type c cable, but dongle has been removed from the usb port.
As you can see the device is not even getting detected.

Hi @ishant010301 ,
Based on your description, your mouse is currently only functioning correctly in Bluetooth and 2.4GHz modes. When switched to USB Type-C wired mode, it can be detected but cannot be moved or configured.
To help us further confirm and resolve the issue, please provide the following information:
If the issue persists after confirming the above, please provide the Armoury Crate logs for our reference. The log files contain detailed information about the software's operation, which can help our backend team identify the issue.
Please ensure that the logs accurately capture the moment the issue occurs. (Please enable logging, perform the problematic operation once, and then package the logs.)
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate log files: Please refer to Q4: What is APP Diagnostics? https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
After completing the above steps, please upload the collected log files to a cloud storage service and provide the link along with the approximate time and method of operation via private message for our analysis.
Also, please provide your product serial number.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

I reinstalled armoury crate and tried again but the mouse is not getting detected in wired mode, just to be sure that it is a problem with the mouse rather than the pc, i tried it with another laptop - but same issue there. But the usb c is working as it is charging the mouse and the wire i am currently using used to work. I am including the log link here:
