ROG AZOTH - System Information not showing on screen

Hi all,

just bought few days go my Azoth and I have problem with showing "System Information" on my screen. When I click "apply" it still shows the screen that was before that.

When I uninstalled Armory Crate, then after restart the "System Information" was visible on screen, but here 1 day after reinstalling Armory Crate when I change to picture mode and wanted to go again to show "System Information" it doesn't want to show it.

Tried via cable, bluetooth and dongle. Tried clean reinstall. Tried restarting keyboard with FN+ESC. Tried to end all ASUS tasks in End Task... and nothing helped.

Did anyone have problems with that?

UPDATE - I doubled checked it... it seems really when I uninstall Armory Crate then it start showing "System Informations" but only like its stucked in that screen, and after reinstall is all good if I don't start Armory Crate and change anything. It happens also If I connect (as I use it on more PC's) it with bluetooth on other PC then its goes bezirk again, and I need to reinstall everything again.

Every other option works (Image or Animation, Custom Banner, Music Mode)

1. OLED display screen: To have a more visual understanding of the current situation, could you please record a video of your OLED screen and provide it to us for reference? This will help us better understand the root of the problem.
2. Screen display status: Is the screen currently unable to display any content at all? Or is it only the system information that cannot be displayed?
3. Armoury Crate reinstallation: Have you tried using the Armoury Crate uninstaller provided on the official website to completely uninstall the software and then reinstall it? This can help rule out any errors that may have occurred during the software installation process.
4. Keyboard firmware: Have you confirmed that the firmware of the keyboard is at the latest version?

To help us locate the problem more quickly, please provide the Armoury Crate log file.

The logs contain detailed information about the software's operation and can help the team identify the problem.
Please ensure that the logs accurately record the occurrence of the issue.

Hi, just wanted to inform you that it works now. I even reinstalled windows and it didnt helped and after few uninstall/installs of ArmoryCrate, registry delete, it started to work from itself 3 days ago. I really dont know what happened.

ASUS please post respond with how to fix this issue. its been raised multiple times. This is an incredibly expensive keyboard and its advertised functions don't work. Fix the software - how did you mange to publish software updates for this keyboard without testing it?

The only way i can get it to work is to re-install whole armoury crate and not update the keyboard software but today it wouldnt let me adjust settings without updating

I should not have to reinstall this software (let alone re-install windows like OP) every week to get it to function properly. Now that doesnt even work. The only way I got it wo work before was to not update the keyboard sofware in armoury crate but now I cant change the settings unless I do

Why don't you just opensource everything so someone can make some thing that actually works (this goes for the rest of armoury crate too)?

Today I bought the keyboard and have the same issue. When clicking Apply the previous animation remains unchanged.

Just got mine yesterday and also encountering the same issue. This is so sad. This is a critical issue and they don't seem so urgent to fix this given the amount of time this case is open.

So I was able to make the animation setting change whether it is to use image/animation, music, or system info display. For me to make it work, every time I'll change something on the oled display, it should be connected via wired. After saving the new setting (by clicking Apply), I'll close AC and re-open it to make sure the new setting is saved and applied. Now, to make it appear in your keyboard's oled, close AC and shutdown your PC. Turn off power supply. Unplug the cable from power supply. Hold power button for 30s. Leave your PC for 30mins (in my case, I left it for an hour but I guess 15-30mins is enough). Plug your PC and startup your PC (make sure that your keyboard is still connected via wired). After booting, give your PC some time to run its startup apps and other background tasks, and then open AC. From there, open your keyboard oled settings and re-click the active display mode of your oled and see if it now fixes the problem (should also work in wireless mode, haven't tried BT mode tho). Patience is the key here, don't rush the process. Cause it seems like AC is running a lot of tasks in the background and we don't want to disrupt those tasks by loading them with more.
