ROG Azoth RGB keeps resetting.

Darcky

I bought my ROG Azoth less than a month ago. I created my own RGB profile using Aura Sync which took me 3 hours. All good!
Now, after 5 or so minutes or every time I restart or turn on my computer, the RGB resets to the colour cycle standard. My settings saved on a profile also do not save and I have to redo them again every time.
What is the fix for this? If I can't find a fix, I will send the keyboard back to Amazon.

Hi @Darcky ,

Thank you for reporting the issue of the ROG Azoth keyboard's Aura Sync settings frequently resetting. To better assist you with this issue, we would like to further confirm the following:

  1. Firmware update: Did you start experiencing this issue after updating the keyboard firmware?
  2. Software reinstallation: We recommend that you use the official Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool to completely uninstall the software, then reinstall the latest version, and see if the problem is resolved. Have you done this?
  3. Firmware version: Please ensure that your keyboard firmware is updated to the latest version. You can check the firmware version through Armoury Crate and official site.
  4. Log and video: To better understand the problem, we kindly request that you provide the Armoury Crate usage log, as well as a video recording of the issue occurring via private messege to me. The log file and video can help our engineers locate the problem more quickly.

How to collect the Armoury Crate log:

Please refer to ASUS's detailed tutorial: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14

Video recording suggestions:

  • Clearly present the issue: In the video, please clearly show the process of setting the Aura Sync effect, saving the settings, and the settings being reset.
  • Include system information: If possible, please display your computer system information (such as Windows version, Armoury Crate version, etc.) in the video.

Thank you.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.
