I have an issue with the ROG Ace Harpe Extreme Mouse. Updates show in Armory Crate, but initially, downloads would "fail". Thing I tried:
- Download Armory Crate Gear
- Reinstall full version of Armory Crate
- Clean delete
- Restart PC
- Update everything; BIOS, chipset, Windows
- Connect through USB, put mouse on USB mode, remove poll-rate enhancer and connect dongle directly to motherboard rear IO.
Now, I cannot access the mouse settings page in either full Armory Crate nor AC Gear. I get an error H-2004. See screenshot - this is from full Armory Crate and from AC Gear for the mouse and the dongle receiver. The mouse disconnects after reboot if on wireless mode. I have to enable cable mode then back to wireless to have it work.

I've had that error before, it should just be temporary. After switching from wired to wireless mode, is it working normally with no errors?
Can you access the pages and check the Firmware Update page in Armoury Crate?
Switching back to wireless works, but I cannot access the mouse's page in Armory Crate. I get the message shown in the screenshot.
Sorry to see you still have the error, this should be fixable without having to reinstall Armoury Crate.
When I encounter an error such as this, I do some fiddling around such as:
1) Since the issue seems to be with 2.4GHz wireless mode, try the wireless dongle in a different usb port, you can use motherboard or pc case usb ports. Restart your pc after switching usb ports and check for the error.
2) If you still get the error, toggle to wired mode. Wait for the spinning red circle and see that you can access the pages. Then switch back to 2.4GHz wireless mode, wait for the spinning red circle and see if the pages show.
3) If you still get the error, try all 3 buttons "Reconnect this device", 'Retry", "Got to landing page" which should take you to your motherboard page.
Doing little things like this will usually get rid of the error.
If you still get the error, then reinstalling Armoury Crate may fix it.
I'll list steps how to do it:
1) Uninstall Armoury Crate from windows.
2) Restart your pc.
3) Connect the charging cable to your ROG Harpe Ace Extreme and a pc usb port, you can use motherboard or pc case usb ports.
4) Set the wireless switch on the bottom of the mouse to wired mode (switch set to the center position).
5) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.
6) Install Armoury Crate Version 3.3.5.2 - Armoury Crate - Support
7) Go to the Armoury Crate Update Center and do any updates.
Do you still get the error after this?
