Omni Reciever no longer pairs with Strix Scope II 96 Wireless

Title says it all. I tested connecting my mouse to the omni reciever of the scope 2 wireless and in the process unpaired the keyboard itself at some point. Now I can not re-pair it with the reciever no matter what I try. It immediately says pairing failed. I am beyond frustrated at this point. Please help if you have any ideas what could cause this

I resolved the issue myself. I reset the keyboard by pressing FN + Esc for 10 seconds. And then I tried for quite some time to reinstall the firmware update for the keyboard. For most attempts it did not work but then at some point it did and after the firmware update was done I was able to pair the keyboard with the omni reciever again
