OMNi Receiver not showing in armoury crate

Hi there,

I've recently acquired a Keris II Ace mouse, however upon trying to setup the wireless I am discovering that I am not able to.

So far I've tried reinstalling Armoury Crate, however when I go onto the problem, with the OMNI Receiver plugged in I do not see the OMNI Receiver in the device list on Armoury Crate. The device works fine wired and the OMNI Receiver shows up in my computers device settings, just not on Armoury Crate.

Also to add, I am aware of a Firmware Update on the file, however when I try to do it, it comes up with this. But the mouse will not connect wirelessly so I can't do it. Screenshot 2024-12-25 125318.png

Anyone got any ideas?

Hello youthscreams

To do the update in Armoury Crate:

1) Connect the charging cable to your mouse and a pc usb port.

2) Set the wireless switch on the bottom of the mouse to wired mode (switch set to the center position).

3) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.

4) Do the update in Armoury Crate.

Thank you for responding.

I have done this, yet I am still receiving the same message. It's as if it doesn't recognise the OMNI Receiver even though it's listed in my pc devices.

Are you using the polling rate booster?  Install the polling rate booster firmware, then try the update again in Armoury Crate.   -  ROG Keris II Ace | Gaming mice|ROG - Republic of Gamers|ROG Global

If that doesn't help, remove the polling rate booster and try the update.

I'm not using the polling rate booster as of yet, I just plugged it in and did the firmware update with that, however both with it plugged in, and without it does not show up the OMNI receiver in Armoury Crate sadly

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the wireless dongle, you can connect the wireless dongle to pc case usb ports or motherboard usb ports.

The ROG Omni Receiver should show in the Armoury Crate Device list.

I have tried both, this is what I see on armoury crate, the one remaining update is the one I cannot do due to it not recognising the receiver. It shows in my devices, but not on armoury crate.

5) Reboot your pc.

6) Install Armoury Crate version 3.2.11.2 - Armoury Crate - Support

7) Do the updates in Armoury Crate.

It should update to version 5.9.13.0

Hi,

I've just done all of this, and I'm still facing the same problem 😕

Hi @youthscreams ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To better understand and resolve the issue of "Armoury Crate cannot detect OMNI Receiver," we would like to gather some additional information:

  1. Previous pairings: Have you previously paired this OMNI Receiver with other devices? Or has this mouse been paired with other receivers before?
  2. Firmware versions: What are the current firmware version of your mouse and the version of Armoury Crate?
  3. Troubleshooting steps: We recommend trying the following steps:
Replug the dongle: Try plugging and unplugging the dongle multiple times to see if there is any improvement.
Turn off Aura Sync: Temporarily turn off the Aura Sync feature and try pairing again.
Check AC page: After plugging in the dongle, are there any error messages or prompts on the Armoury Crate page?

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please provide the Armoury Crate log file. This will help us analyze the problem more thoroughly.

The logs contain detailed information about the software's operation and can help the team identify the problem.
Please ensure that the logs accurately record the occurrence of the issue.
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate logs:
Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? (New Feature)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
Once you have completed the above steps, please upload the collected log files to a cloud storage service and send us the link via private message.
Also, please provide us with your product serial number.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
