Same issue here, I noticed that few weeks ago and I first thought that it was just bad switches, but after replaced them a dozen of time any time a key was repeating, I'm now sure it's a firmware issue/ Armoury crate issue.

@Aureliannn_ROG what is the solution to this? what is the estimated timeframe for a resolution?
does gamers nexus need to pull asus up on this also ?

Same problem here. This key repeating happens also on my TUF FX506LU Laptop keyboard approximately for 3 weeks. I can not play any game. The player continues to move even if I stop pressing the keyboard. Repeat problem happens at every key. I have dualboot in my laptop and this problem happens both on Windows11 and Fedora. I think this started to happen after upgrading Armoury Create. Also I noticed that if I change keyboard lighting from static to color cycle this repeating behaviour decreasing.

in the interests of keeping this in the open I've been DM'd by @Aureliannn_ROG asking for further details as asus continue to skirt the problem and do nothing about it. of course your engineeering team is working on the issue, that's wwhy you provided so many details about their progress...
typed this up on the azoth as it's an unsellable mess - as you can see it's still totally bbroken,, repeating like crazy, thanks for destroying my device and doing below the bare minimum to resolve it.
you've had months to fix it and what have you come up with so faar? send us some logs and the firmware version,, lol you lot are aa joke
gamers nexus was bang on the money... I've learned my lesson buy anything asus in the future and if you'ree reading this i hope it steeers you away ffrom this abysmal company
@Aureliannn_ROGwrote:Hi, according to your post
Our engineering team is currently working on your issue.
To help us locate the problem more quickly, we need you to provide the following information:
- Armoury Crate logs: The log files record detailed information about the software's operation, which can help our engineers identify the root cause of the problem.
- Product serial number
- Screenshot of the Armoury Crate update center: Please take a screenshot of the Armoury Crate update center page, especially the keyboard firmware update information, as this will help us confirm if your device has the latest firmware installed.
Providing the above information will help our engineering team identify your issue more quickly. Thank you.
1. armoury crate is a junk bloated mess and you expect me to sift through it's entire file structure to find where it is logging to. how does it not enter your mind to tell me where these log files are located. I've spent time reinstalling this malware mess aagain to have zero clue where the log files are located. what kind of support is this? truly is 100% to the point GN made about AASUS you have zero clue what you are doing. you can shove this point I'm not going back over this, the problem is obvious and in your firmware and is easily rectifiable by allowing me to revert to the previous version, stop sidestepping the solution by droning on about log files and bs and revert the firmware to let me (and the others in this thread) update to a version that worked
3.
there's nothing more I'm offering to assist in this problem, you can't even think one step ahead to let me know where the log files are, I'm uninstalling this crap for the last time, sorry if you've got this keyboard I'm not assisting further, asus are useless
the fix is easy
-revert the firmwarae to the previous verison
-enablle it in armoury craate to update the device

How does one revert firmware? This is my second azoth after having my first RMA'd for the same repeating key issue. I stupidly decided to update my second keyboard and now I'm back to this repeating mess...

You don’t. They’ve released a firmware that’ll essentially brick your keyboard and they won’t / can’t fix it. They also won’t stop you updating to said broken firmware, so now you’re in this position.
I fixed by buying a different keyboard. Asus couldn’t care less. Let Steve at gamers nexus know if you want. Maybe he can pick this up and dig into them a bit as they’re not going to listen to us or do anything about it.

btw: I got a keychron Q1 HE in the end, cheaper than the latest offering from asus, worlds apart in quality, heavy, solid, hall effect switches, software is lightweight works in the browser and fast to update and...
...firmware is solid and not broken!
amazing right?
I'll reiterate asus...

I was having a similar problem with my "o" key. I fixed it by pulling the switch for that key and replacing it with one of the spares provided in the original box.
It could be that I'm experiencing a different issue, I'm not sure. Ironically, this would be my favorite keyboard if it were not for the key repeating issue. I thought I would like the more mainstream keyboards like a Rainy 75 but I keep coming back to this one. Something about these switches is just right for me, from the activation force to the muted sound. It's exactly right. Well, except for the repeating issue.

I'll reply since asus don't seem to bother. Your issue here is different, it's down to the stock switches on the Azoth. Ironically I had the same issue early on when I first got the keyboard. It started with one switch which I replaced out with one of the spares, then spread to another switch which I also replaced with another spare and kept spreading until I had used all my sprares and ended up just buying a full set of Gateron switches which permanently solved the problem. I ended up replacing all the switched by the time around 10 of the stock switches had started to repeat.
Unfortunately now every key has a moderate likelihood to repeat due to the most recent firmware release by asus. I'd suggest anyone experiencing the issue send an email to tips(at)gamersnexus.net - maybe in time Steve can pick up on the issue as asus show no interest in looking after their customers. I'd also recommend you enact any warranty priviliages you still retain or purchase a keyboard from a more reputable make.
TLDR: the basic switches in the Azoth are junk and gradually fail overtime.

I have the same issue with my Azoth snow switches, it's not all keys that repeat but some of them "c" "b" "m" "n" "f" "o" "i" "l" "1" "2" "8". I didn't experience this when I first bought it in April. It started showing symptoms in May or June, I forgot, so the theory of it being a firmware issue could be true, but it could also be an issue with the PCB. I tried it with different switches, and it did produce repeating keys, but at the same time if i remove a repeating key switch and place it again, the issue disappears for few hours to few days, but it ain't a permanent solution because the same keys starts repeating again after a while! Such a shameful issue for a 250€ keyboard that a 10€ one wouldn't have.
Unlucky me also purchased Keris II Ace mouse alongside the keyboard, works great except for the scroll wheel which got loose after 2 months of usage which i then had to super glue it (because it was making scrolling hard since the rubber gets in the path and touches the edge of the left and right click button) but my finger caught some of the glue and got stuck to the rubber so i had to rip out some of it and add hot glue to fill the gap with some transparent material for the RGB light to pass through. Such a shameful issue for 160€ mouse that a 10€ one wouldn't have. Another horrible experience from a low quality assurance execution by Asus.
And of course the most major issue with my PC. I bought TUF x570 PLUS in 2019, worked well for years along with the infamous "Armory Crate" which made the PC a bit slow with all its services running in the background, but it wasn't bothering enough that i would uninstall it since it did provide some useful function to control fan speed profiles, RGB, and of course my keyboard and mouse customizations. It was only until this July that I updated AC where my PC started freezing randomly. The freezing caused nothing to work anymore until a hard reset. Imagine writing an essay on a new file locally that hasn't been saved yet, only for AC to crash the PC and lose all the writing. Yep that happened to me. Imagine being in a standup call where you are presenting to your team something important only for AC to crash the PC. Yep that also happened to me. Since July I have been trying to debug this issue, and at one point I did uninstall it but it didn't solve the issue because AI Suite was also installed and I didn't remove them together. Of course, I wasn't fixating on AC because I was thinking, I had AC for years and it didn't cause this issue why would it now? So I had to reinstall windows and set up everything all over and eliminate each program or driver (chipset, nvidia drivers, etc.) and even the RAM (disabled D.O.C.P, undervolted, overvolted, used different sticks, reapplied thermal paste) from being the root cause until I figured out recently (actually this week after three months of struggling) that it was AC, because of a new version that was released in July, and I was able to confirm that by running Cinebench (30 mins stability test) with and without AC and AI Suite. I think it's a service called ASUS Framework Service to be specific that is running in the background and crashing windows for some weird reason under load or under even just a spike of load. People call it Cancer for a reason. Since I uninstalled all Asus software, not even a single crash for days no matter how many times I run Cinebench. They also released a slim version of AC called AC Gear and it is specific to the peripheral that you bought and it's only meant for customizing it without the extra functionalities. Guess what, Asus Framework Service is also included in that garbage. Yet another horrible experience with Asus.
It seems that for every Asus product (3/3) I need a support ticket. Asus has become Microsoft of the hardware and even software universes, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THEM! if you can for your own peace of mind. They do make hardware from good materials with competitive specs, but they have a ton of quality issues that isn't worth risking it, and the worst of all is that their support is non-existent to say it politely.
I'm planning to do a new build with AM5 and RTX50 series when it's released. No Asus component will be in this build.
I hope you are reading your customers' feedbacks, Asus, you're not doing well at all.
