So I am new to gaming PC's and Windows. I have mainly used a Macbook for the past 11 years and mostly was a console gamer. My son wanted a gaming PC so I bought this Asus ROG tower, OLED monitor, and Delta ii headset. The stock mouse and keyboard were horrible and the keyboard lights stopped working in under 3 days so I decided to just upgrade those. I got this Keris ii Ace mouse yesterday with an Azoth keyboard. I am using the polling rate booster and omni receiver for both. I followed all instructions for set up and updates but no matter what the mouse does not turn off and does not stay synced to armory crate or gear. I followed the instructions for the changes to windows. Called Asus but they were not much help at all having me reinstall stuff all to no avail. They recommended I use it wired which to me defeats the purpose of buying a wireless mouse.
Everything else works great. Keyboard, headset, monitor, everything works great and stays synced. I will be honest it took a lot of googling to figure out how to install some drivers and stuff handled outside of armory crate. Nothing comes with clear step by step instructions so I had some challenges as I accustom myself with Windows. I am asking here because I did get great help getting the monitor updated and working with armory crate. Is this a known issue with the mouse or am I missing something. It is the only peripheral that seams to be handcuffed by windows settings instead of just being handled by armory crate.

Hello cbcstillmatic
Check this:
1) Make sure windows dynamic lighting is turned on and Armoury Crate is at the top of the Background light control list.
2) In Armoury Crate on the Devices tab, select your ROG Keris II Ace. At the top, click Lighting Sync Control. Tick Aura Sync and Windows Dynamic Lighting.
3) On the Lighting tab, select Aura Sync.
4) On the left, select Aura Sync and check the box for your ROG Keris II Ace.
5) Your ROG Keris II Ace should now work with Aura Sync.
6) To put your ROG Keris II Ace to sleep, select the Power tab. Select a time for "Switch to sleep mode after being idle for", I set mine for 3 minutes.
How does this go?

So the first few steps armory crate walked me through when I was first hooking up the mouse. I moved armory crate above dynamic lighting. Found the lighting sync control tab but initially when I would change it to aura sync and dynamic lighting it would switch itself back to device control. Asus support had me uninstall armory crate and the mouse and reinstall everything then go through all those steps you listed and everything is currently set just as you show but mouse behavior is the same. With sleep set to 3 minutes, once 3 minutes passes the mouse wheel just changes from the aura choice to scrolling rainbow but never goes to sleep. Same happens when I put the pc to sleep, everything turns off but the mouse, the wheel just goes to the default rainbow lighting. When I wake the PC back up everything else syncs colors but the mouse which I have to manually go in and change again.

Ok,
Make sure you have the cable and the wireless dongle connected to a pc usb port, you can use motherboard or pc case usb ports.
If using the polling rate booster, install this firmware update if you haven't already. - ROG Keris II Ace | Wireless | Gaming mice|ROG - Republic of Gamers|ROG Global
If that didn't help, try resetting your ROG Keris II Ace.
1) Connect the charging cable to your pc's usb port and have it close by.
2) Set the wireless switch on the bottom of the mouse to wired mode (switch set to the center position).
3) Press and hold down Left click, Rick click and Scroll click buttons for 5 seconds.
4) With all 3 buttons held down, connect the cable.
5) You should have an update in Armoury Crate after the reset. Do the update and check mouse behavior with Armoury Crate.

OK just did that and did not work same behavior. For now I have turned off sync so the color change stays and just switch the mousse to wired mode when I turn the computer off so the battery doesn't drain. Have to decide if I am going to keep it or return it and try another one or another model all together. Waiting on reply from Asus support escalation as well.

Ok, sounds good.
You could try without the polling rate booster and see if this helps.
Another thing to try:
Since both the ROG Azoth and ROG Keris II Ace support the ROG Omni Receiver, you could try pairing them to the other ROG Omni Receiver. You'll want to unpair them first from the current ROG Omni Receiver before pairing them to the other.
Does this help any?

Tried both, without polling booster and the other Omni receiver. Same behavior. ASUS support recommended I send in for repair but I put in for a swap with Amazon even though for some reason I don’t think the next one will be any different.
Thank you again you have been a hell of a lot more useful than ASUS support that never presented any of these other options.

All right,
Let us know how it goes when you get your replacement mouse.
Be sure to do the updates in Armoury Crate and update to the ROG Omni Receiver.
All should be good with it.

Got my replacement today and everything is working as it should. Only weird thing is the one I received today the S/N on the mouse does not match the box. I only noticed this because I mixed the mice up initially and realized neither matched the box. So I went and found the old box and matched that number to the old mouse but why the new one doesn’t match I have no idea. Also didn’t come with the grip stickers in the black envelope. I tore the pink strips off myself so definitely doesn’t appear to have been opened previously. But I’m not going bother swapping again since everything is working as I expected.

Good to hear all is well with your new mouse.
You could contact the store that sent you the replacement and mention that the serial numbers don't match and there were no grip tape stickers.
If you're not too concerned, I'd register the serial number on the new mouse for warranty purposes. You can register it at the User Center in Armoury Crate.
Would register your ROG Azoth too, after registering them, you can check the warranty status if you like.
