Ok, I don't know if this might work but, you could try disabling and reenabling the battery notification on the Power tab.

Click the box to enable/disable the battery notification.

Hello Kep

Check the Lighting tab.

When you have the brightness set to 100%, the high power consumption will be displayed.

Lowering the LED Brightness should remove the high power consumption notification.

Hi Nate152

When I reduce the lighting brightness or turn it off completely, the high power consumption disappears, but still appears after some time or after PC reboot.

Hi @Kep ,

Thank you for providing detailed information about the high power consumption issue with your Keris AimPoint mouse.

Based on your description, we understand that you have lowered the mouse brightness, but the "high power consumption" warning still persists.

To accurately diagnose and resolve this issue, we kindly request you to provide the following information:

  • Armoury Crate logs: Please open Armoury Crate and record the logs while reproducing the "high power consumption" warning after lowering the brightness.
  • Screen recording: Please record a video of the entire process, from opening Armoury Crate, adjusting the brightness settings, to the appearance of the "high power consumption" warning. Clearly display the Armoury Crate interface, the mouse's brightness settings, and the warning message.
  • Connection mode: Does this "high power consumption" warning occur in all connection modes, such as wired, wireless, or Bluetooth?
  • When did the issue start: When did this issue start to occur? Is it related to recent software updates or hardware changes?

You can collect the above information by following these steps:

Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? (New Feature)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
Once you have completed the above steps, please upload the collected log files and videos to a cloud storage service and send us the link via private message.
Also, please provide us with your product serial number.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

When I turn on my PC, the "high power consumption" is displayed for the mouse.
But when I open the Armory Crate, then go into the mouse settings, and I don't even change anything, the "high power consumption" disappears until the next time I reboot my PC.

Also, I checked on another PC, the same behavior..

Are you sure it's not loading a profile with the LED Brightness at 100%?

You could try resetting all profiles, this will set the LED Brightness to 50%.

Then, reboot your pc and see if you still get the high power consumption notification.

At the moment, LED Brightness is set to 25%.

But as I said earlier, even with the LED completely off, I see a high power consumption.

This seems to be more of a visual issue (high power consumption status) as the actual mouse doesn't run out of charge quickly and holds a charge well.

I don't know how, but the problem went away on its own.
