for the third time my azoth keyboard has stopped working and requires a reset

wotwotwot

honestly sick to death of this

every random count of months this keyboard will randomly lock up and no longer send any key commands, the selection knob won't access menus and everything stops working.

doesn't matter if it's connected via the dongle, bluetooth or wired - everything stops working

it then requires a complete reset via holding esc + fn resetting all my settings and I have to reinstall this bloated pos armoury crate spyware to reinstantiate them all (why is there no lite version asus where I don't have 7 system services running just to configure a keyboard)

let's cut the bs before you reply with: are your drivers / windows / etc updated - this is blatantly a fault with the software / hardware of this keyboard from factory. Once the keyboard is in this state I can transfer it's connection wired/wireless to any other machine I have and it'll continue to exhibit the same behaviour.

and no doubt given asus' history of zero customer service it will never get fixed

point of this post ? if you're thinking about purchasing this keyboard, think twice as it's junk

I have a asus g16 rog strix. Also, I have a G933 logytech headset and a coolmaster mechanical keyboard. All this is running under a Windows 11 home edition. Usually at 11pm, when I am using it, the keyboard lights start to flash and I start hearing some usb sounds. My computer after that start not reponding properly the keyboard and I have to reset the computer. What can be wrong and if you have heard about some compatibility problem on the devices.

Hi @wotwotwot @Kalimaro ,

According to your question, have you encountered any keyboard key sticking issues?

If so, please help us record the Armoury Crate logs for reference.

If you are not currently experiencing the issue, please provide the logs when you encounter the problem again.

The logs contain detailed information about the software's operation and can help us quickly identify the problem.

Please ensure that the logs accurately record the occurrence of the issue.

Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate logs:
Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? (New Feature)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
Once you have completed the above steps, please upload the collected log files to a cloud storage service and send us the link via private message.

Also, please provide us with your product serial number.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Why are you posting in this thread about a g16 wtf is wrong with you?

Recently I changed my laptop to a Rog Strix G16, it is a i9 intel, with 32GB and Windows 11.

I did the installation following the system suggestions importing most of the settings from my old computer, an ASUS. All seemed to be OK, until when I started feeling that in the event viewer some messages are appearing:

It turns out that at some time of the day, my computer starts to become very reactive, and I start hearing USB sounds, and the lights of my Keyboard (CoolerMaster mechanical) and the lights of the notebook (RBG) start to blink and the keyboard becomes irresponsive sometimes doing a repetition of keys.

I asked support from logitech because my headset is a G933 and uses G Hub, and I heard that G Hub and WIN11 has some compatibility problems.

I have tried many things already, but I suspect that it something related to the Windows Update as these crisis usually ("usually") happens close or a little after 11pm. I believe that the windows update tries to connect to internet to check some driver from keyboard or/and Headset and because this lack of permission, it crashes and the system starts to become unstable.

Anyone knows what could be done? I am trying to open a ticket on MS but no success by now.

Cheers.

Please create a post in the laptops section, the topic for this thread is the Azoth keyboard.
