Azoth RGB Lighting

I recently purchased a new azoth keyboard. Im having an issues that when I first boot up my pc the lighting on the keyboard is set correctly to what I want. once the windows and my start up apps are loaded the keyboard lighting will turn off then back on rainbow preset. I have to open ac and reselect aura sync to match my motherboard lighting. I notice that aura sync is already selected for the keyboard lighting but I have to select it again. Anyone else have this issue??? I didnt seem to happen at first. I beleive Im up to date on firmware. AC is showing:

Keyboard Version: 3.00.27

Dongle Version: 3.00.17.

I checked to make sure everything is updated also in AC.

Hello, @LowDUB

Based on your description, the situation is that upon booting up, the custom RGB settings are displayed correctly, but once you enter the system, it reverts back to the default RGB settings, requiring a reconfiguration through AURA Sync.
During these occurrences, which type of connection are you using: USB 2.0 (Type C to Type A), Bluetooth 5.1, or RF 2.4 GHz?
Could you please assist in confirming whether there are any differences in behavior among these three connection methods?
Additionally, may I inquire about the PC or laptop brand and model to which the keyboard is currently connected, as well as the OS version?
Kindly provide your current version of the Armoury Crate and screenshots of the Armoury Crate Update Center for further confirmation.

Thank you.

Hello, @LowDUB

Please try using the Armoury Crate uninstall tool to uninstall it and reinstall via the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO support page, finish the update again, and reboot.
After completing the reinstallation, please proceed to update all items in the Armoury Crate Update Center to the latest versions.
If needed, refresh multiple times to ensure the updates are fully completed.
If the issue persists, please help share the log for us to investigate further.
For log operation steps, please refer to "Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)"
After recording the log, please upload it to the cloud, approve access, and PM me the link.
Thank you.

Hello LowDUB

There have been some updates in Armoury Crate since you last posted. Try checking for updates in Armoury Crate, if it's not any better after the updates, use the Armoury Crate uninstall tool as Jiaszzz_ROG suggests.

Here are the latest versions.

For the lighting - Try setting a static color and reboot. Once booted into windows, it should switch to the color you set.

Since my last post I have had to wipe my windows install and start fresh. I've obviously installed and updates armory crate. Problem still persists. I've just set static color and left if. It will not sync correctly with my system. I will create a log and upload as soon as I can. Thanks for the help

You're welcome,

We appreciate you taking the time to generate a log.

You could try resetting your keyboard by pressing and holding the Fn+Esc keys for 10-15 seconds, then do the updates at the Armoury Crate update center.

After that, try a lighting profile again.

here is a log file showing a boot up then the lighting not working properly.

If it's not setting your lighting profile once booted into windows, try using the Armoury Crate uninstall tool and reinstalling.

In the link below select your operating system, click "Show all" in blue, the uninstall tool is the third download.

Armoury Crate - Support (asus.com)

Once uninstalled, install Armoury Crate version 3.2.7.2 (first download) then head to the update center and check for updates.

Does it save your lighting profiles after trying this?

just performed uninstall and reinstall with the link provided. same behavior. when everything is set to aura sync and I shut down and boot up. the lighting is correct when posting but when windows loads in the lighting changes back to static color on just the keyboard
