Azoth Extreme Significant Wake-up Lag for Combination Keys

When paired with 2.4G, only Win gets sent when press combination keys like Win+E to wake the keyboard up.

I did not experience this issue with Azoth. This sucks.

Hi @xelnaga74

Having spoken to the relevant teams about this issue, they are aware of it and a fix should be deployed soon.

Thank you! Looking forward to the update.

After 3 weeks, still no updats. Just returned the keyboard. A $500 keyboard having this issue is unacceptable and disapointing. Technical support was useless.

will definitely think twice before buying ROG products in the future.

No disrespect, but you actually returned the keyboard due it not typing in sleep mode?

Wouldn't it make more sense to just extend the sleep time till this was resolved? The keyboard has power saving anyway, the OLED dims after 30 seconds or so. I didn't even notice this till you mentioned it just now 🤣

I used combination keys to change typing languages very often, so the wake-up lag for combination keys really annoyed me. It's not just combination keys; if you type a little too fast right after the keyboard wakes up, the second key won't be sent.

Like you said, most people don't even notice it, so I was afraid that ASUS wouldn't even bother to fix it. If they never fix it, I'd rather return it before the return window closes. I still have my Azoth. I can just buy another one if they fix it and I still want this keyboard.

I've since just noticed if you disable the OLED it doesn't do it. And yeah, despite being a bit of a niche issue you had a mod confirm they knew about it the same week you posted, so feel you might have overreacted a bit here. Love mine and it has a lot going for it, so for the sake of extending the sleep time I'm happy to wait.

It's unfortunate timing, I saw an update pushed yesterday night and updated my Azoth Extreme, and that solved this issue. However, another issue that I submitted earlier, has still not been patched yet.

I had been checking if there's a firmware update everyday. My friend has not gotten an update either.

What's your firmeware version after update?
