Aura creator : lights flickers 1 sec every 6 min and quick lauch bar problem since rog strix flare 2

I recently bought the stryx flare 2 animate and it's by far the best keyboard i ever had.

i have a problem with the lighting effect that cut 1 sec every 6 min.

The light only cut off 1 sec when i use aura sync, if i use the other effect it seem ok.

I think the problem come from the timeline for the effects when the loop restart because when we are creating an aura sync profile, we can see that the timeline for the effects is 6 min long, and it's the same length between two light cut.

On my previous keyboard (a logitech) there is a cool feature called freestyle which allow to choose the color of each individual key per profile.

i like to have a default effect for desktop and work session where the letters are blue, the symbols are green; the numbers are red, etc ...., and also to have special profile for games .

Can you add a freestyle mode that we can use without be forced to use aura creator?

because aura creator is not very pleasant to use and it's way more complicated for me to map every key with this software that it was to set on my old keyboard.

In aura creator we can't see what key is already in a layer and it' really easy to bind a key multiple time.

The ideal will be a freestyle mode without layers and timeline and where we can choose and save a color that we can assign to which keys we want.(and not in aura sync).

I also have an annoying problem since i have this keyboard; the quick launch section of my taskbar disappear every time i reboot.

i noticed that two days ago when ther was a bug from armoury crate that was cutting internet 5 min only after a reboot.

I hope that you will add the freestyle feature because the light that cut every 6 min is starting to annoy me.

It's so bad because beside of that, this keyboard is really pleasant to use ans silent.

Could you please assist in recording and providing the relevant logs and sharing the lighting profile?
For log operation steps, please refer to "Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)".
For lighting profiles, please click Options > Export to export the current lighting profile after editing.
Afterward, please upload both the log and the lighting profiles to the cloud storage, grant access permissions to the files, and send me the link via PM.

Due to the large size of log files or video files, there is a possibility of attachment failure when sending them via private messages.
Therefore, we recommend uploading the files to a private cloud and sharing the link and permissions with us. It doesn't have a specific cloud storage platform.
Alternatively, you can use compressed file formats for transmission.

Thanks for your answer.

I did find what was the problem.

When i was expanding the timelines of the effects, it was sometimes not ending exactly at the same lenght and some timeline had 1 sec less.

To solve the issue when i first dragged to the left the effect timeline, i repeat the drag operation multiple times to be sure it was really on the left.

And when i was expanding the effect in the timeline, before releasing the right click, i get back a little bit and to the end again.

By doing like that i had apparently 100% of success for 10 layers.

I think you should had a numeric counter for the position that will show the start and the finish time of the effect like     0:00 - 6:00

This way i surely had spotted right away the problem  by seeing something like     0:00 - 5:59

It will also be simpler to have the timeline entierly visible beside having only 5min30 and having to scroll to see the rest of the timeline.

Maybe you can also add a feature for each layers where it's possible to choose it permanent (no timeline) or loop after 6 min (may be loop x times also).

In any case, i manage to found what i did wrong and i can now this so neat keyboard.

By far the best keyboard i ever had.

Typing is smooth and silent, the calligraphy of the keys is really beautiful and ALL the secondary letters of each keys are lighten which is never the case with this kind of switch normally because when the symbols are not directly over the led, it's not as bright as the main letter of the key and can probably annoy some people, and this is why most keyboard caps builder don't make all character transparent on the key.

But i can tell you that i prefer to have a dimmer character that an "invisible when dark" one.

SO the fact that all characters of key are lighten; the smoothness of typing, the calligraphy and the hot swapable switches put this keyboard in top 1 position.

Could you please clarify if the procedure you are referring to is regarding the addition of an effect adjustment on the timeline, where it is necessary to drag the timeline all the way to the left to avoid a one-second gap between 5:59 and 6:00?
If possible, would you be able to assist me by recording the procedure you described, so that I can provide an accurate reference to the relevant department?
