Hi @shalaevbox ,

To better assist you in resolving your keyboard power saving mode issue, we would like to gather some more information:

  1. Power saving mode settings: Regardless of whether you set the power saving mode to reduce LED brightness or turn off the LED completely, does the keyboard backlight fail to display according to your settings?
  2. Sleep mode setting: If you set the keyboard's sleep mode to "Never", the keyboard backlight will stay on and will not automatically dim or turn off. Please ensure that your settings are correct.
  3. When did the issue start: When did you start experiencing this issue? Has it been there since you purchased the keyboard, or has it appeared later?
  4. Software reinstallation: Have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the Armoury Crate software using the official uninstaller?
  5. Firmware update: Please ensure that your keyboard firmware is up-to-date. You can update the firmware through Armoury Crate.
  6. Video recording: We recommend recording a video to record the display of the keyboard backlight under different settings, so we can better understand the problem.
  7. System log: Please provide the Armoury Crate system log. This will help us analyze the cause of the problem. You can find the log-related options in the Armoury Crate settings.

The logs contain detailed information about the software's operation and can help the team identify the problem.
Please ensure that the logs accurately record the occurrence of the issue.
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate logs:
Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? (New Feature)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
Once you have completed the above steps, please upload the collected log files to a cloud storage service and send us the link via private message.
Also, please provide us with your product serial number.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

Hello

The power saving feature corresponds with the lighting alert.

The power saving feature will only activate once the battery level hits the percentage you set.

For instance, I have power saving set to turn off the keyboard led's when the battery percentage reaches 20%.

Thanks for information, because this information absent in documentation or any other sources.

Also its not quite clear when the LED will decrease brightness if first option become active.  Is this 60 sec or ?

It is logically to add LED brightness decrease feature despite of current battery status.

Implement 2 silders - first timeout before LED brightness will be decreased, second - sleep time.

Also you should know that i have installed by mistake 96RX driver and after OS cleaning with registry i was unable to setup 96 usual driver 1.0.1.4 because of unknown Net framework exception. Its become half-installed with "Page error" while opening ROG receiver exe.

You should test yourself - install 96 gear software, after uninstall, install 96RX, uninstall , then try to install 96 again - and it will not work anymore.

I have solved this issue buy installing 96 drivers on fresh virtual machine, after just copied folder with files and move to original PC.
