I just purchase this mouse yesterday and tried to charge it, but it wont go beyong 53% I dont know if my device is broken or this is software issue? all software are up to date hope someone can help me regarding this

I tried everything I can do. reinstalled everything but none of it works, saw on every thread that everyone that updated to 8.00.01 firmware problems started to show. maybe its a bad firmware that needs to updated?
