Zephyrus G16 high chassis temperatures

So i have a bit of an issue.

Bought a G16 (185 CPU, RTX4090).

In idle and non gaming use, the temps are good. They range between 60-75C on the CPU and 50-75 on the GPU depending on use.

But in games (demanding Unreal 5 games) things get extremely hot. Been playing around with different power settings (armory crate) and this is what i got:

88-95C CPU, 83 GPU on Performance or Turbo.

In Silent mode, the temps are lower but the demanding games have huge FPS swings and unfortunately i cannot use that mode while playing Wukong or Salker 2.

I think the CPU and GPU are kinda normal in demanding games (please correct me if im wrong.. 88cpu, 83 gpu as armory crate says), but my problem is the temperature on the Chassis. I cant even touch the zone near the screen. It literally burns to the touch. Is this expected? Is this considered normal? Am i destroying the laptop with these temps? I dont have a thermometer to read the chassis temps but its probably like 60C i donno.. i simply cannot touch the zone close to the screen.

I have the laptop sitting on a cooling pad but that doesnt do much for the upper side of the chassis.

When the system is engaged in high-performance operations such as gaming, video editing, file conversion, or extensive data processing, the CPU/GPU temperatures tend to rise. Based on the temperatures you mentioned, they generally fall within an acceptable range.

Since this model features a metal chassis, temperature perception may feel more pronounced. To enhance comfort during use, the heat dissipation vents are designed above the keyboard and have been tested to meet standards.

However, as we cannot confirm the exact temperatures during your usage, if you have concerns about the operating temperatures, we recommend sending the laptop to your local service center for further inspection and verification. The above information is provided for your reference. Thank you.
