This seems to be a common issue.

GU605CW-QR107X

Windows Build 26100.4351

Bios v306

nvidea driver 576.80

On two different hubs - both with up to date firmware (updated while testing)

Dell D6000 - Monitor displays only black background and mouse - 1 monitor Acer

HP G5 - Displays not recognized - 2 x HP displays

Tried

  • Each Usb C on PC
  • On Main power brick, USB Power, Battery
  • Power cycling everything
  • with Armoury Crate, G Helper, everything disabled
  • All performance modes
  • all work straight from HDMI on PC

Could you please try using DDU to completely uninstall the current display drivers, then install the ASUS-validated NVIDIA graphics driver version V32.0.15.7324 to check if the issue improves?

Additionally, may we ask if the USB-C ports work properly when connecting to other external devices? Thank you!

I will try the drivers.

 

The USB-C video out works with a USB C Adapter.  Cygnett Unite DeskMate USB-C Hub Silver will display on a monitor with both USBs
