Basically the title. The laptop wont charge if i power it off and plug in the AC adapter. I does however charge using the Type C port. As soon as i turn the laptop on it starts charging. It used to work properly and now i don't know what changed. Has anyone experienced this or has some solution to it. It is the 2022 model running bios version 313.

I also tied using another asus adapter, however it was a lower wattage one. Thanks

Hi @SreedevT ,

May I confirm if you have tested the latop with the original 240W adapter?
When charging through the Type C port with the device powered off, could you please check if the  charg indicator light turns on? Additionally, could you share the brand and specifications of the charger you are using? This information would help us further assist you. Thank you for your cooperation.

I have tested with the original 240W adapter. When charging with the device powered off, with USB C it charges as usual. I have used the apple 140W USB charger for testing the usb c charging

Hi @SreedevT ,

Based on your description, if there is an abnormal charging issue when using the original 240W adapter while the device is powered off, we recommend sending the adapter to the nearest authorized repair center for further hardware diagnostics. This could be a symptom of a hardware malfunction. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
