I have a `GA503RW` ROG Zephyrus G15.
The random crashes started about a year ago. sudden restart, screen glitches and hangs (keyboard unresponsive)
The crashes very happening more often when I was working on battery in a cafe and unplugged to the TV so I got to think.. what if it's the integrated GPU that's causing the issues?
So I decided to go Ultimate mode (dGPU only) and the crashes disappeared (didn't happen once in 24 hour period)
Today I decided to check again with eco mode (no dGPU only iGPU) and it crashes within 10 minutes of starting to work with the laptop.
Note the iGPU works fine. it just produces crashes occasionally (4-5 time per day on eco mode)
I have tried:
- Updating all drivers
- Using AMD software to update iGPU driver
- Updating BIOS
- Reinstalling win 11 pro from scratch
My question is:
- How do I diagnose this further to know whether it's software/driver or my hardware?
- How do I go from here to fix this? should I give up and always go with the Nvidia dGPU from now on? but i'd like to have battery friendly options when I'm on the go.
- Anyone experienced similar issues?
Extra notes: I have upgraded my Laptop's RAM (32GB 4.8Ghz) and SSD (2TB NVME 2.0)

@erfanahmadi
Please check whether your laptop’s BIOS and system version have been updated to the latest versions. Additionally, please confirm that the graphics driver you are using was downloaded from our official website; if it was not, we recommend uninstalling it and then installing the driver provided by us to see if the issue improves.

If the problem persists, we suggest backing up your data and restoring the system to rule out any system malfunction.

As I already mentioned above I've tried:
- Updating bios (I'm on Version 318 as of Nov 10, 2025)
- Reinstalled windows 11 pro from scratch and wiped drive C
- reinstalled graphics driver
- My AMD driver version is `31.0.12024.2005`
Any more ideas? I've been running in Ultimate mode ever since with no crashes. I think that might be hardware issue. how can I verify?
