It still turns on fine as far as I can tell, the keyboard backlights work as normal and the screen noticeably lights up, but no matter what I do I cannot get it to display anything but black. Plugging in a monitor and restarting the computer displays a startup loading screen on the monitor, but it turns black as well afterwards. I have already tried holding escape on startup, and unplugging it and holding the power button for 30 seconds.
EDIT: Issue solved itself after I left it alone to charge for a few hours.
