Hi, I recently got a Zephyrus G14 2025 with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and RTX 5070Ti and the GPU clock speeds were stuck at 180Mhz despite being in games, but also reported to use 430W of power. I did an EC reset ( EC Reset ) that night, and after booting the laptop up again, the 5070 Ti boosted like normal. But the next time I booted up the laptop, the same problem returned: 180Mhz clock speeds even with games running, and 430W used by the 5070Ti. I did another EC reset and that fixed the problem for that night, but when I booted it up today, the same problem resurfaced. I request for help regarding the diagnosis of this problem, and I contacted Asus Support, but they responded with a link about overclocking, but I never got the chance to even overclock. From the day since I got this laptop last week, I have only downloaded games and tried the GPU without any overclock. Something that might be of note, in my first week of getting this laptop, my keyboard lights did flash on when booting on the laptop, but then it turned off without me disabling it or closing the brightness. I would like to ask for help identifying the issue and some fixes to this issue, thanks!

Have you tried using DDU to completely remove your display drivers and then installing the ASUS-validated NVIDIA display driver version V32.0.15.7276 to test if that resolves the issue?
Also, could you please share your GPU and fan mode settings within Armoury Crate? Thank you.

Hi @Anbby_ROG ,
I just wanted to let you know that I (and others) are running into the same issue where the GPU gets completely stuck in 180 MHz. I did actually run DDU + reinstall the NVIDIA driver (two attempts, driver 576.80), but to no effect at all. After performing an EC reset (from this page) the GPU speeds returned back to normal!
Here are two recent threads, to let you know this is not an isolated issue related to OP's laptop:

I hope the cause can be found, and fixed through a driver/BIOS update.
Edit
I wanted to add, that indeed my model also reported 430W for the GPU when it happened (both in GPU-Z and HWMonitor), and went back to normal after the EC reset.
