hannytyo

Hi,

In Armoury Crate, my Slash Lighting panel showing 'Update Now'. But when I click it, the Armoury Crate app closed, nothing happened. I cannot use Slash Lighting now.

When I check Update Center, I cannot find Slash Lighting component installation.

I have tried to re-install Armoury Crate, but still having the same problem.

Need help, thanks!

Hi @hannytyo  @rrrooogg  @100kV  @Partholona  @fzhmxcii  @JulianR94 ,

Please try using the uninstall tool to remove Armoury Crate and reinstall it to see if there is any improvement.

If the issue still persists, please enable the Armoury Crate log recording feature, click on "Update" again, and provide us with the log and the following information via private message. We will further investigate this issue. Thank you.

Serial Number:
BIOS Version:
Windows Build Version: (Settings - System - About)

【Here is the file path for the log file for your reference】
In Armoury Crate "Settings" and check "About" page, If clicking App Diagnostics "Record Log", the Privacy Policy Statement will pop out. Once user agreed statement, the Armoury Crate will start to collect problem log  and you can click "Generate log data" to generate the log file with encrypted (ASUS log file).

To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.

Same issue on my 2024 G16 (GU605MU). Not only can I not update or access Slash Lighting and configure it, it also ignores any previously set parameters. So it doesn't turn off now when the laptop is unplugged sleeping with the lid closed, for example. Neither does it go to 100% brightness when plugged in.

Hey Anbby,

your provided solution, predictably, worked for me. Slash Lighting has returned to normal functionality.

Yes... it solved the problem. Didn't know if there is an uninstall tool. What I did before was uninstall all AC instances through Control Panel.

So thanks a lot!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled as @Anbby_ROG suggested. It works fine now. Thanks!
