Just got my Zephyrus 16" 2025 5080 for +3000USD, and very unsatisfactory buy so far. I understand it's a new platform, but this is their 2nd Gen, should have ironed out some of these key issues:
1) PERFORMANCE Issues, playing Call of Duty Warzone, every few minutes, Whole System Freezes for 3-4 seconds, and resumes (and obviously I get killed). I am running on Power Plugged in, and set every power feature in the CPU profiles to "Performance". And even turned on the "Fan to max" - it doesn't seem like a thermal issue than more of a Bottle neck issue.
2) G-SYNC TEST MODE in RED - "Uncertified G-sync Display Detected".
3) Windows Button (on keyboard) and other "control+esc" - seems to not work at times- and then after trying for some while "some windows services" crashes - (task bar disappears- and comes back again) and its fine. Seems intermittent windows problem. It happens A LOT. Just seems unstable as hell.
4) "Resuming" from sleep, or "resuming" seems to take quite a bit of time 5-10 seconds before I can enter my password
5) My Facial login doesn't work nor does my "pass key" for windows doesn't work - It says something about resetting, tried it a few times and now have to "resort" to using my password instead of num key or facial login.
Come on ASUSTek - Tec team - help me out here.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Based on your description, the issues you're facing might stem from driver, firmware, hardware, or Windows instability itself.
We recommend performing a Cloud Recovery to reinstall your system. After that, use ASUS-verified drivers and NVIDIA Display Driver Version V32.0.15.7272. Then, during gaming, try setting the GPU to Ultimate Mode and the Fan Mode to Turbo Mode in Armoury Crate to see if there's any improvement.
Regarding the G-Sync issue, please confirm your settings in NVIDIA Control Panel > Display > Set up G-SYNC. If you're using an external monitor, ensure the connection method and the monitor itself are G-SYNC certified.
After performing the Cloud Recovery system reinstall, disable Fast Startup (Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do > Turn off fast startup). Also, disable Modern Standby in Armoury Crate and test if other system issues improve. Thank you.
