Wi-Fi 6 GHZ is not visible when close to the Netgear RAXE500 router on G16 Strix 2023 (AX211 card)

Here's my config:

- Windows 11 Pro 64 Bit | Wi-Fi AX211 6e Card | 16 GB RAM | 1TB SSD | Model: G614JV

Problem: I seem to be having a weird issue where my G16 Strix wouldn't see the 6 GHz Wi-Fi network when it is in the same room as my router.

This issue persists on this laptop only. My ROG 6 phone has no issue seeing the 6 GHZ band, and so are my older laptops which were upgraded to AX210 cards.

Kindly let me know what can be done from my side to fix this issue.

All my drivers are updated, and even the bios version at the time of writing this post is version 325 which is the latest.

Hi @sachb ,

I'd like to understand more about your usage scenario. You mentioned that the G16 cannot see the 6 GHz Wi-Fi network when it's in the same room as the router (Netgear RAXE500). Could you please confirm if you can see networks on other frequencies when in the same space? Does the G16 fail to detect the network provided by the Netgear RAXE500 in any location? Could you provide the following information via private message to further investigate the issue? Thank you for your cooperation.

Serial Number:
Windows Build Version: (Settings - System - About)
Intel Wireless LAN Driver Version:

To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.

Yes, I can see the 2.4Ghz & 5 Ghz and connect to them, but the 6 GHZ doesn't show up even on the PSC channel. My other laptop, a very old ASUS K556U can see and connect to the 6 GHZ without issues.

Can you check your private message, i tried to send you the details.
