While watching Youtube videos and Twitch streams, it doesn't feel and look like 60 fps.

I have a ROG Strix G18 laptop. When watching Youtube game videos and twitch streams doesn't feel like 60fps, even though I have 1080/60 fps selected. When playing games, there is no problem. Anyone else experiencing / have experienced the same problem?

Hi @ZebraMantis ,

Due to the G18 was tested and optimized specifically for Windows 11. Consequently, its drivers are optimized for Windows 11, which may lead to compatibility issues with Windows 10. This information is provided for your reference. Thank you for your understanding.

This might tell you what FPS you're getting...
About 1/3 down from the top of this webpage, it explains how to display the FPS of your YouTube videos.

Hi @ZebraMantis ,

I would like to confirm if the issue is the same on the laptop's main display. Have you tested it using standard playback software? Thank you.

It's same for the main display. I tried different connections like hdmi or displayport, but no difference. And it only happens when the streamer or the youtuber rotates the POV of the character. For FPS games its very noticable. Is there a possibility that it can be caused by the my internet provider?

Hi @ZebraMantis ,

Based on your description, if the issue only occurs when the streamer or YouTuber rotates the POV of the character, it could be related to video compression and quality or network stability. This kind of issue is often more noticeable during fast-moving scenes because compression algorithms may struggle with these rapid changes.

If you haven't tried this yet, I recommend testing with different browsers or video players to see if there is any improvement. For example:

Switch Browsers: Try using different browsers (like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.) to watch the videos and see if there is any difference.

Testing these can help determine if the issue is related to the browser itself. If changing browsers doesn't resolve the problem, it might be worth further checking your network connection or video quality settings.

So, i realised i didn't mention something. The problem occurs at the second monitor which is Asus TUF 27" VG27AQZ monior. I use display-type c cable for connection.
