warranty transfer and Windows licence upgrade

I just bought a second-hand Asus Scar 17 SE. The warranty is valid till Jan 2025 but I am unable to register it as it has already been registered. My second issue is I am trying to upgrade my Windows home edition to pro, I have a license key but receive the Windows Activation Error code (0x803FA067) how can I resolve this?

I will private message you the required information for re-registering the product serial number. Please note that product registration will not affect the product warranty, as the warranty is determined based on the product serial number.

Regarding the upgrade from Windows Home to Professional edition, I would like to confirm how you obtained your key. Has this key been activated on another computer before? Thank you.
