Recently bought a ROG Strix G16 G614JIR, tried to connect it to my LG 27GR75Q through the USB-C DP with a USB-C to DP 2.1 Cable from Silkland but it shows up nothing on the monitor though on Device Manager it shows up that its working.

I would like to confirm if you have updated the BIOS to the latest version 317 and tested using the ASUS-verified NVIDIA Graphic Driver Version V31.0.15.4624 and Intel Graphic Driver Version V31.0.101.5186.

Additionally, have you tested both Type-C ports to see if neither works properly? Please try using another cable to check if the result remains the same. Thank you.

I did try both USB-C ports though it yielded negavite results, and no that's my only USB-C to DisplayPort cable. Don't even have any other devices that have DisplayPort as well lmao

There could be many possible reasons why the external monitor is not displaying (drivers, hardware, cables, etc.).

If you have already switched to the ASUS-verified version of the display driver, may I ask if you have tried testing with an HDMI connection or cross-testing with other devices to check the issue? Thank you.

Unfortunately I don't have other devices that have DisplayPort, but I connected it to the monitor through HDMI, though G-SYNC in only on the DisplayPort of the monitor.

If you don't have any other cables or equipment available for cross-testing, we recommend that you send the laptop to the local service center for assistance with the diagnostics. Thank you.

No, it's ok. The port works it just doesn't recognize my monitor but I can always use the HDMI, and I'm planning on getting a new monitor for my upcoming gaming rig

Double-check that you are using the USB-C port labelled DP (see above).
