Hello everyone,

I own an ASUS Zephyrus M16 GU603HE-KR031T with a 1920x1200 144Hz display, and I am considering upgrading it to a WQXGA (2560x1600) 165Hz display with a 40-pin connector.

Before making the purchase, I have a few questions:

1. Is the motherboard and BIOS compatible with a higher-resolution (2560x1600) 165Hz panel?
2. Does the stock eDP cable support this resolution and refresh rate, or would I need to replace it?
3. Has anyone successfully upgraded their Zephyrus M16 screen, and if so, which panel models are confirmed to work?
4. Are there any known issues (such as black screens, flickering, or BIOS limitations) when upgrading the display?

Any advice, recommendations, or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
