I have an ASUS TUF F15 (FX507ZV4). Recently I encountered a problem, where my laptop keyboard light got stuck on red. All the effects were working (strobing, static, breathing) but only red light was there. When I switch to COLOR CYLE option in the Armory Crate, only the red light was fading and appearing.
I tried rolling back the ASUS System Control Interface driver, reinstalling Armory Crate, reinstalling My ASUS, using G-Helper but nothing worked.
In a post on the same website, someone said to DISABLE Windows Dynamic Lighting setting and prioritize the ASUS Armory Crate option in the lighting control option. I also tried it but nothing happened. Also in my case there was no other option in priority list other than the windows default (armory crate was not there).
Finally, the ASUS official FAQ webpage solved my problem (I should have referred it first instead of forums). So if you guys are also experiencing the issue - refer this page and perform CMOS clear (EC reset). Hopefully this will solve your keyboard problem as it solved mine.
