After downloading MyAsus app from Microsoft store, my laptop turns down the refresh rate to 60Hz and turns off keyboard backlight right after I unplug my laptop.

Hi @Abeleria ,
May I confirm the model number and BIOS version of your product, please?
Regarding the refresh rate, if your laptop uses a screen that supports high refresh rates, it means that the system will consume more power. Once you remove the power adapter, the system will detect DC Mode and activate the Intel DRRS (Display Refresh Rate Switching) mechanism to switch the screen from a high refresh rate to a standard refresh rate. During this time, the screen will briefly turn off and then turn back on. This behavior of switching screen refresh rates helps effectively extend battery usage.
I'd like to confirm with you whether, upon reconnecting the power adapter, the refresh rate and keyboard backlight will revert to their original settings? Thank you.

My model number is FX516PC, I checked BIOS and it was like that:
BIOS version: 330
GOP version: 17.0.1045
EC version: FG060F0C.309
And sometimes when I plug it out, keyboard backlight doesn't change but refresh rate always goes down

I forgot to say that when I plug it back in, it goes back to normal

Hi @Abeleria ,
Regarding the refresh rate, you can refer to the explanation in the link provided below.

If you wish to maintain a high refresh rate, we recommend connecting to a power source. Thank you.
