Hi @kubilaykaand ,
Based on your description, please try performing an EC reset test to see if it can restart the computer. Here are the steps:
1.Remove all external devices
To avoid any possible interference, remove all external devices such as external hard drives, printers, memory cards, external ODD (if your computer is with internal ODD, remove CD/DVDs), and dongles, etc.
2.Disconnect the power adapter
Separate the power adapter from the computer to disconnect the power.
3.Press and hold the power button for 40 seconds
During the EC reset process, we need to press and hold the power button for 40 seconds. Make sure you have removed all external devices and disconnected the power adapter, and then press and hold the power button for 40 seconds.
4.Reconnect the power adapter and turn on the computer to check if the problem is resolved
After completing the EC reset, reconnect the power adapter and turn on the computer to check if the problem has been resolved.
If you still have any other questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know. Thank you.

Hi @Caio ,
Have you attempted to perform an EC reset test to see if that resolves the issue?
Additionally, I'd like to confirm whether the situation you're experiencing involves the keyboard backlight turning on but the screen remaining completely black. Are you able to access the BIOS screen? Could you please provide more details about your situation and the tests you've conducted so far? This will help us further investigate your problem. Thank you.

Hi @Anbby_ROG
2 weeks after I bought the laptop, it suddenly stopped working.
I tried press power button for 40 seconds, to realyze hard reset, but it doesnt work.
When I press power button the keyboard lights with the same configuration that I setted.
The laptop doesnt show any image, even ROG logo, and it is not possible to access BIOS screen.
I have tried to access using another monitor, using HDMI cable, but with no success.

Hi @Caio ,
I'd like to confirm with you whether you've replaced or added any memory or hard drive to your system. If you have, please revert your hardware configuration back to its original state and test if the system functions properly.
If you haven't made any changes to your hardware, upon startup, please try executing a Microsoft shortcut: Windows logo key + Ctrl + Shift + B key. This shortcut restores display-related settings and can sometimes resolve display issues. I hope this information is helpful for your reference. Thank you.

Hi @Anbby_ROG
I managed to restore Windows 11, but I'm finding 16GB of memory insufficient for my work.
What is the maximum capacity supported by the ROG Strix G16? Would it support a 32GB ddr5 stick?
Thanks

Hi @Caio ,
The ROG Strix G16 (2023) has a total of two memory sockets, including those that are currently in use.
It supports 2 SO-DIMM with a maximum capacity of 16GB, and its specification is DDR5-4800.
Here are the brand models that we have tested for your reference. Thank you.
