Strix G16 2023 G614JV usb c displayport

I have a ROG STRIX G614JV from 2023, and I’m not an expert in this kind of technical setup, so I’m hoping for some clarification. I recently got a monitor that supports a 500Hz refresh rate, and I’d like to know if it’s possible to connect my laptop to it using a USB-C to DisplayPort connection. My monitor has a DisplayPort input, but I’m not sure if my laptop’s hardware is capable of supporting such a high refresh rate. Can my laptop handle a 500Hz output at 1080p, or would there be any limitations I should be aware of? Any guidance would be much appreciated!

The USB-C output of the ROG STRIX G614JV support a maximum resolution of 7860x4320, 60Hz.
It is important to note that if you are using a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter to connect to your monitor, there may be compatibility issues with the cable that you should be aware of.
