I have ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 15 (Windows 11) laptop. I am using an external video capture card (ASUS CU4K30) for streaming which is connected to the laptop's HDMI out.
I am also using a headphones which is connected to the laptop using a wireless adapter. I am able to hear sound in the headphones as it is the Default Device and Default Communication Device. So I am not getting audio output to the capture card via the HDMI out.
So I planned to use the Stereo Mix in the Recording tab to enable listening to this device and selecting the Capture Card (HDMI OUT) as the output device for this listening.
But unfortunately I cannot see any Stereo Mix in the Recording tab. Can anyone please help me to achieve this?

Hi @GuardiaN_XG ,
May I confirm with you if you currently wish for the audio to be output through the device connected to the ASUS CU4K30?
Please try clicking on the device connected to the ASUS CU4K30 and set it as the default audio output to see if there's any improvement.
Regarding STEREO MIX, could you please provide the following information via private message for further confirmation? Thank you.

@Anbby_ROG I am playing games on ROG STRIX SCAR 15 (G533ZXZ-LN116WS) and the HDMI OUT from this laptop is connected to the HDMI IN of ASUS CU4K30 capture card.
I have connected a USB interface headphones to the laptop which is set as the audio output device.
So obviously there won't be sound output going to the HDMI OUT right, so my requirement is to get audio out on both the connected headphones and the HDMI OUT to the capture card.
If stereo mix was there in the Recording tab, then I could enable "Listen to this device" on the stereo mix and then output it to the HDMI OUT (Capture card).
If there are any other workaround to achieve the same requirement, I am more happier to follow that. Please advice.

Can you please give a technical clarification of why it is not possible? If not possible, can you please suggest an alternative to get sound output to both the usb wireless headphones as well as the HDMI out.
Some other workaround for Stereo Mix.
Also please kindly let me know why stereo mix is not supported.
