Screen freeze in rog g16

I just bought a g16 240hz 4060 i9 2months back. After completing all the necessary updates whenever i launch a game my graphics cards shifts to the 4060 and the screen freezes. Many of the times the screen contiues to stay freezed even though the game has been started ( i can hear the audio ). To resolve this ive to force restarting the system twice or even thrice at times

But it doesnt always happen its random. 

I dont know whats the issue.

Are you using the latest Nvidia 560.70 drivers?  If so, revert to an earlier driver.  I also get the same black screen when graphics change to the dGPU when starting games on the latest driver.

I am using the latest driver. 

Can you please tell me what version are you on . And have you faced the issue again ? After reverting?

I just installed the previous driver, 556.12 and the GPU switching and games are working normally.  No issues seen since then.
